Dunmore Wood Durrow – Short Loop Walk

DISTANCE: Approx 1.73 Miles / 2.78 KM – CLIMB: 90 Feet

This walk is a shortened loop of Dunmore Wood and does not take in the riverbank route. To start the walk, you pass by the traffic barrier, and bear immediately left onto the woodland trail. Follow this trail through the wood until you arrive at the woodland pathway where you also bear left and walk towards the little stone bridge that traverses the River Gully. Having passed this point, continue on the path as it leads you through the wood until you come to a T junction. Turn right here and the path will take you back to your starting point.
There are some variations to this loop, once you have crossed over the stone bridge, you will notice some pathways and trails through the wood which will also lead you back to the final leg of this route.
