Bishops Wood – Durrow – Capponellan Wood Loop
Park in Capponellan Wood, and cross the main road to enter Bishop’s Wood, and begin this looped walk. After going through Bishop’s Wood, follow the river bank, which will lead you to Castle Durrow.
Once in the village of Durrow, follow the N77 for Kilkenny, and turn right onto Derry Road, Durrow, just before the Church of the Holy Trinity. Following this road will lead you to the Ballabh Climb, atop of which, you turn right into Capponellan Wood, at the vehicle barrier.
Continue through wood until the first junction, and turn right, which will lead you back to the carpark, from where the walk started.
