It was probably inevitable that there would be some rise in waters, considering the serious flooding in Mountmellick, Coolrain, Portarlington, and other areas during the week.
At the moment the riverbank walkway is completely submerged and should be avoided, and water levels have risen in the usual areas around the rivers Gully and Nore, so take care whilst out walking in Dunmore Wood.
