Dunmore Wood Durrow.

November 2015

Storm Barney has left it’s mark on Dunmore Wood, Durrow, with more trees felled by the strong winds that lashed across the country on Tuesday 17th November. The good news is that the damage is nothing like the woodland suffered in the hurricane force storm of February 2014, and recent flood waters have also receded from the riverside trail.
The river walk is now passable, for most, but a number of trees that have fallen across the pathway may prove too much of an obstacle for some.
For the most part, the rest of the wood seems to have bore the brunt of the storm quite well, and all main routes are clear of fallen trees.
