Knockatrina Wood Impassable

Knockatrina Wood, on Durrow’s Leafy Loop Walk has also fallen victim to the recent heavy rainfall and subsequent floods, and is completely submerged at all lower levels. After entering the wood and reaching the immediate junction, you can only walk a short distance in either direction before encountering the floodwaters. If you bear right and continue down the trail, you will see the water flowing in numerous little streams, and accumulating at the trails low point and throughout the surrounding woodland.
Bearing left and following the trail that leads to the pathway alongside the adjacent fields, that link with the Course Wood, you soon discover that the entire section is under water and completely impassable.
